Parliamentary committee welcomes Germany’s designation of Hezbollah as terrorist organisation

Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee at the Council of Representatives has welcomed Germany’s designation of Hezbollah as a terrorist orgnisation and banning of all its activities on its territories.

The committee Chairman, Mp Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, lauded the German step, noting that it supports anti-terror efforts, and contributes to achieving the international community’s goal of putting an end to the terrorist practices and the damages resulting from the activities of militias, and their work that contravenes all international laws and principles and inflicts destructive impacts on peoples.

MP Al-Sisi stressed the need for concerted international efforts and a unified global vision vis-à-vis terrorist militias and groups to put an end to the spread of extremist ideologies and calls for violence in order to safeguard security and stability worldwide.
