Foreign Ministry invites Qatari counterpart to send an official delegation to initiate bilateral talks in implementation of Al-Ula Declaration

Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it had sent an invitation to its Qatari counterpart to send an official delegation to Bahrain as soon as possible, to start bilateral talks between the two sides on issues and pending matters between the two countries, in order to implement Al-Ula Declaration issued by the 41st session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council held in Al-Ula Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to reach the lofty goals we aspire to achieve for the benefit of the citizens of the two brotherly countries and to strengthen joint Gulf action.

It is my pleasure to extend to your Excellency my sincere greetings and appreciation along with my wishes for your continued health, wellness, and success.

I would like to inform you that in implementation of what was stipulated in the Al-Ula Declaration by the forty-first session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council held in Al-Ula Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I am pleased to invite your esteemed Ministry to send an official delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain as soon as possible, to start bilateral discussions between the two sides on issues and pending topics between the two countries, in order to implement what was stipulated in the Al-Ula Declaration, to reach the lofty goals we aspire to achieve for the benefits of the citizens of the two brotherly countries, and to strengthen joint Gulf action.

We inform your Excellency that the Kingdom of Bahrain has formed two committees, (a follow-up committee and a legal committee), as stipulated in the Al-Ula statement.
