Bahrain’s Ambassador to Canada participates in symposium on Abraham Accords

Washington: Bahrain’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Canada Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated in a virtual event on the Abraham Accords.

The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Canada, Fahad bin Saeed Al-Raqbani, also participated in the event.

Shaikh Abdullah noted the importance of signing the Abraham Accords in enhancing peace and prosperity in the region as a whole and in providing a framework for cooperation among various countries.

He affirmed Bahrain’s steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian people and committing to the two-state solution, including the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The establishment of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Israel will contribute to creating more channels for dialogue, he added.

Shaikh Abdullah stressed that His Majesty the King’s integrated comprehensive approach and Bahrain’s foreign policy seek to maintain regional and international security and peace.
